Eight Days A Week was considered for a single release in U.K., but was replaced by 'I Feel Fine'. Capitol, however, decided to release the song as a single, and it went to number 1 on the Billboard charts in March 1965. The Song was recorded in October 1964 and it is believed that the title had a link to 'Eight Arms To Hold You', which at that time was the working title of Beatles second movie.
